The successful candidate must demonstrate flexibility, strong motivation, excellent problem solving skills, a proven record of meeting aggressive deadlines and changing requirements. Candidate should be able to work as a good team player as well as work independently with little supervision, identify and recommend changes to established practices and policies. Experience mentoring/coaching less experienced engineers and proven project leadership or technical leadership experience is a plus.

The candidate must be able to prioritize and handle multiple outstanding tasks. Good communication skills to forge a strong working relationship with engineering groups, QA groups and customer support. Fluent written and oral English

Responsibilities:
-Produce high quality software in Celerra iSCSI area.
-Fix product defects resulting from DVT/QA testing and incidental discovery.
-Provide root cause analysis and software resolution to customer escalated defects.
-Provide software solution to enhancement requests.

Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of software engineering development.
-Experience in C/C++ and Object Oriented Technologies a must.
-Experience in Windows, Linux, or Unix kernel development desired.
-Experience in SCSI, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS protocols desired.
-Strong background of Windows, Linux, UNIX & network debugging tools & techniques
-Knowledge of storage technologies and management software a plus.
-Knowledge of file systems, network stacks, cluster technology a plus.
-M.S or B.S in computer science or a related field
